Method: No current in-country evidence either way. Astrill markets StealthVPN as anti-DPI and keeps a live UAE (Fujairah) server page, but publishes no UAE-specific dated guidance. OONI has zero measurements of astrill.com in the UAE, so we cannot even say whether the vendor site is reachable on Etisalat or du.

What we're seeing

Astrill has no measurable footprint in the UAE: OONI has zero measurements of astrill.com from UAE probes even over an 18-month window (we confirmed the gap is real with a NordVPN control showing 136 anomalies on Etisalat), and no dated in-country user report surfaced on any channel this pass. The vendor keeps a Fujairah server page and markets StealthVPN as anti-DPI, but publishes no UAE-specific dated guidance. With nothing dated on either side, the cell stays unverified.
